Solidarity

Representation

This organization is a network, a community, a family, a team, and a joint effort of businesses who serve the local area to advance the economic development and success of its businesses, members, and general interests of the Amite, LA and the surrounding areas. We are one organization representing  businesses in our area. Our strength lies in our numbers and representation from each and every field of business.

Representation

Representation

The Amite Chamber serves as the voice of the business, civic, industrial, and agricultural communities and plays an active role in expressing your views to all levels of government. A Chamber officer or director attends pertinent city and parish council meetings and reports back to the membership any issues affecting the business community.

Resources

Finance, marketing, management, e-commerce, law and legislation and we work with Amite City Officials, (TEDF)Tangipahoa Economic Development Foundation, SLU Business Development Center, Tangipahoa Tourism, Hammond and other area Chambers, (LABI) Louisiana Association of Business and Industry, local Attorneys, CPA’s, and Legislators. If you have a question about a specific problem your business is having, it can be referred to one of our Chamber Partners. A monthly newsletter is written and published by the Chamber, disseminates information from these various resources.

Networking

Internet Presence

Through Chamber involvement, members have the opportunity to make professional contacts that can result in profitable business relationships. The Chamber "After Hours" specifically serves as an informal networking tool in a social atmosphere. We also have our annual Bon Appétit and Christmas Party.

We will also showcase this information on the front page of our website, and Facebook, as well as being spotlighted in all of our emails for the month.

Opportunities for high visibility from sponsorship, advertising, or participation for your business are available through several Chamber events: The Annual Bon Appétit, The Oyster and Christmas Parades, and any other events that we may host.
